Be a Voice for Dementia

Dementia affects millions of individuals and families, yet awareness, understanding, and support for dementia remain limited across many communities. At Dementia India Alliance (DIA), we believe that advocacy is essential to creating a more informed, compassionate, and dementia-inclusive society.

You can advocate for dementia by helping raise awareness, challenging stigma, encouraging early diagnosis, supporting caregivers, and promoting the rights and dignity of persons living with dementia. Every conversation, campaign, event, and initiative contributes to building stronger support systems and greater public understanding.

There are many ways to become a dementia advocate:
> Spread awareness in your community and workplace
> Organize or support awareness campaigns and events
> Use your voice on social media and digital platforms
> Advocate for dementia-friendly policies and environments
> Encourage conversations around brain health and ageing
> Support caregivers and families affected by dementia
> Partner with DIA in outreach and advocacy initiatives

By becoming a dementia advocate, you join a growing movement committed to ensuring that no person living with dementia or caregiver feels unseen, unheard, or unsupported.

Together, we can create a more aware, inclusive, and compassionate India.
